When I get my GPS calls, they generally all come on the same day.  It actually has been interesting since I get all the calls at work.  The stress level has been off the charts at work recently so when I get the call, I just stop, breath, say a prayer and then I'm so much calmer. GPS has really helped me get centered at work in the midst of a very crazy environment.  It's been a blessing...thanks! I'm grateful to have the reminder to stop and welcome God into day, throughout the day.

I have to tell you! I was downtown Chicago and stopped in a McDonalds for lunch. There was a man who came up to my table to ask if I could spare some change. I asked if he wanted it for food and he said yes. Instead of giving him money, I took him to the counter to buy him a meal. This isn't something unusual for me. I find myself doing this sort of thing alot however, the unusual thing is that right after I purchased a meal I got a "Call from God." It was the first call I received! It was so cool! I felt like God was just patting me on the head saying, "Well done daughter!"

My GPS Testimony:

I have been very blessed and encouraged thru the use of the GPS phone ministry. God has used this different ways in my life at different times. There have been times where I have felt that the Lord was warning me, and also there have been times that I have felt He was simply saying "I'm here". Most of all I believe God has used this method to simply call me to Himself, either in thought, or prayer. As a Christian I am happy to have every reminder and opportunity for more of God in my life and I am truly thankful for this unique ministry. God is so good!!

Thank you Patrick for all of your hard work and the passion that you have poured into this outreach!

Hey Pat,
Just wanted to let you know that GPS has caused me to be more aware of whom I serve.  What I'm trying to say is I work in a pretty rouge environment and its easy to forget whom I serve. When GPS rings and I always look at the word pray pop up it puts things back into perspective.  This is one of many ways it helps me.  One more for you The word says pray without ceasing helps me here also.  Thank You for being open to God's Holy Sprit.

I've actually been quite blessed by my calls.  I'm scheduled between 8-5 so I'm getting my calls during work hours.  And right now, work is so overwhelmingly stressful that some days I just don't think I can handle all the turmoil we're experiencing in the dept.  I work for a bank so all the uncertainties with the economy have translated right into an overload of change and recalibration for the company.  But I have found that it never fails, when the stress level is at it's worst, I get a call from God to remind me of what's important.  When I get the call, I stop, pray, breathe deeply, and focus on God.  And time after time, I find that I am so calmed by doing that, that any action I take from that point forward flows much more easily and efficiently.  Whenever I stop and ask God for His help, He has always delivered without fail.

Blessings!

I went from arguing organized religion and a tuff opinion on Christ to accepting his love into my heart... I kept an open mind and asked A LOT of questions... till the answer was made for myself - no one forced anything on me... and it all started with the "God calls" and some questions that I was asking from the worksheet... Thanks Patrick!

Patrick,
We have found getting these calls to strike the following thoughts- What is He trying to say this moment?  If something was in my mind, is He confirming it?  If I'm not doing what i set out to do is this His way of reminding me to channel my efforts elsewhere?
...thank you God that you're here!!
...thank you that you are omnipotent!
And one more thing; my mom is interested in receiving calls, is there a form to fill out still or a website to sign up (she does not attend LWCC)?

Thanks & God bless,

CRAIG & RACHEL C.

I like having the Christian GPS because it calls me when I need to pay attention to something has just happened is going to happen, or choices I am about to make, or how to react to a particular person or conversation.   It also calls me when I am frustrated as a reminder that He knows and is with me.  Then I can seek Him in these situations or know that He was there through the situation.  I greatly appreciate this service because it does seem as though it is in tune with me and my life – somehow.

On Monday June 15th I had a court hearing at 1:30pm to determine custody of my children.  Their father has been an inconsistent part of their lives but still felt he should have joint custody and overnight visits with our 8 year old boys.  I had faith that God would provide and all would work out according to his will but couldn't help feeling fear and anxiety.   Here's where GPS showed me that if I walked in faith and trusted God everything would work out.  The drive to the courthouse I was shaking and had a horrible feeling of anxiety in my gut.  I received a call on my cell phone at 1:19pm, literally as I pulled into the parking garage of the courthouse.  At that moment I realized I was letting fear take over and not trusting in God. I took a moment to pray and ask God to be with me.  I walked into that courthouse with God by my side.  The feelings of anxiety in my gut had left and I was no longer shaking.  I felt serene and centered.  I could feel God's presence in the court room.  I was surrounded by his love and grace.  I survived that day and also the following day in court.  No matter what the outcome I knew God would provide me with courage.  He did and in the end I was granted sole custody of my children and there were several stipulations but on their fathers future overnight visits.  Through this experience my faith has been strengthened and my relationship with God has grown.  I am a true believer that God is always providing I just sometimes need to be reminded through GPS!
